A DC/DC transformer is a component or device that converts DC (direct current) to DC, specifically referring to a component that utilizes DC to convert from one voltage level to another voltage level. DC/DC is divided into two categories based on voltage level transformation: The transformer that generates a voltage lower than the initial voltage is called a "step-down transformer"; The transformer that generates a voltage higher than the initial voltage is called a "boost transformer". And can also be divided into isolated power supply and non isolated power supply based on input/output relationship. For example, the DC/DC converter connected to the vehicle's DC power supply converts high-voltage DC into low-voltage DC.
